Overview:

The Volcanis System is a fiercely independent solar system located on the edge of a volatile star cluster. The system's central star, Pyros, is highly unstable, resulting in extreme heat and frequent solar flares that have shaped the planets within. The inhabitants of Volcanis are known for their resilience and adaptability, having developed advanced heat-resistant technologies and thriving in an environment that would be hostile to most other species.

Key Planets:

  • Ignis Prime: A planet covered in active volcanoes and rivers of molten lava. The cities are built within massive, shielded domes that protect against the intense heat and eruptions. Ignis Prime is a hub of industrial activity, producing heat-resistant materials and advanced energy systems that are traded across the galaxy.
  • Cinder: A smaller planet, almost entirely covered in ash and soot from continuous volcanic activity. The surface is inhospitable, but beneath the surface, vast underground cities and tunnels have been constructed. These subterranean habitats are connected by high-speed rail systems, and the planet's economy revolves around mining rare minerals and metals.
  • Ember: A planet with a relatively stable environment, but still prone to intense heat. It serves as the system's agricultural center, with crops genetically modified to withstand extreme temperatures. The inhabitants of Ember are known for their unique cuisine, which incorporates the fiery flavors of their world.
